People
In the three years of Tiny Window's existence, there’s one constant that sticks out.
It’s the people that we work with – both internally and collectively – that shape the videos we create.
We’re a small team, so our everlasting goal is to build close relationships with our clients.
Here’s the collective of folks we’ve worked with, and us.

Making Beautiful Filmmaking Approachable
We create non-judgemental safe spaces for people to be their authentic selves, which in turn
creates powerful moments people connect to. We give the same heart and dedication to someone
who may be experiencing a crisis, or to someone running the C-Suite.

How It All Started
Lindsey Seavert and Ben Garvin met while working on assignment at KARE 11 News in 2016. Their storytelling styles meshed and they realized they had not only complementary skills, but a knack for tackling complex and emotional human-interest topics, especially stories centering children.
Lindsey and Ben discovered a story at Lucy Laney Elementary in North Minneapolis while on news assignments that would change the course of their careers, leading to the creation of their Alfred I. duPont winning documentary, Love Them First.
Following the success of Love Them First, Lindsey and Ben eventually started their own independent freelance journalism and video production companies and began to rent a creative space in South Minneapolis during the pandemic.
They shared a small two-room office with only one window.
When they realized it was a metaphor for the work they wanted to create, Tiny Window was born, with the hopes their stories offer a glimpse into beautiful and unknown worlds many may never see.
